This is a client-facing role where commercial awareness, relationship building and sound judgement go hand in hand. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, work alongside product specialists to deliver banking solutions and identify opportunities to expand existing relationships while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client service. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of banking clients, delivering a high standard of personalised service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional introducers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries and providing ongoing support.
  • Work closely with product specialists to deliver deposit, lending and investment solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Support the effective onboarding of new clients, including risk assessment and client acceptance processes.
  • Conduct periodic client reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with KYC, AML and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor client relationships to identify opportunities for growth while managing associated risks.
  • Process customer requests and ensure all banking activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to cross-selling initiatives and support business development activities across the wider team.
  • Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative, client-focused working environment.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a client-facing relationship management role within banking or financial services. You'll have a proven track record of developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities and achieving commercial objectives while maintaining a strong focus on client service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, together with a high level of risk awareness and a sound understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements. You'll be proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the confidence to introduce new ideas, embrace change and collaborate effectively across specialist teams.
