This role offers the opportunity to build and deliver projects that make a lasting impact across the organisation. Working with teams at every level, you'll lead strategic initiatives, improve operational processes and ensure business change is delivered successfully from planning through to implementation. It's an ideal position for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys driving meaningful change within a regulated environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead projects from feasibility and planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, timelines and success measures.
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, assess existing processes and identify risks and dependencies.
- Analyse current processes and develop improved operational solutions that support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources and delivery schedules to ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, proactively managing risks, issues and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee testing, user acceptance and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Support organisational change through effective communication, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain project governance, documentation, reporting and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Promote continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned and project management best practice across the business.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant project management experience, ideally gained within banking or another regulated financial services environment, together with a strong background in business change and transformation. You'll possess excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, manage multiple priorities and successfully deliver projects from concept through to implementation. Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, alongside experience of project governance, change management and regulatory environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected, while experience using Azure DevOps, Miro and SharePoint would be advantageous.
