From AI-enabled tools and machine learning to cloud platforms and data visualisation, this fixed-term contract, running until Q1 2028, offers broad exposure to emerging technologies within a regulatory setting. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management to help drive innovation across the organisation
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Technology Innovation Unit.
- Leading technology innovation projects that support regulatory supervision and operational efficiency.
- Working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
- Developing and presenting project proposals, findings and recommendations.
- Managing technology projects using recognised project management methodologies.
- Supporting user acceptance testing and implementation of new systems and solutions.
- Assessing AI-enabled software and technology platforms for potential business benefits.
- Supporting the development of innovative supervisory tools and AI solutions.
- Collaborating with business analysts, developers, engineers and data scientists.
- Producing dashboards, visualisations and management information using appropriate analytical tools.
- Writing and maintaining production-quality code where required.
- Supporting staff development, training and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Representing the organisation at meetings, conferences and industry events.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience delivering technology innovation, digital transformation or technology project initiatives within a regulated environment. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, APIs, software development and data analytics, together with experience using project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills are essential, alongside the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions. Experience with technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Azure or similar analytical and development tools would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and passionate about using technology to drive meaningful organisational change.
