Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance renewals.
- Obtaining and reviewing client information to support insurance placements.
- Preparing risk presentations and negotiating terms with insurers.
- Supporting new business, policy renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Issuing policy documentation and maintaining accurate client records.
- Managing client queries and providing ongoing support and advice.
- Maintaining detailed file notes, reports and correspondence.
- Managing workload and diary commitments effectively.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed service standards.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, together with excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. Previous insurance experience and a Cert CII qualification would be advantageous for experienced applicants, although full training will be provided for trainee candidates. Previous office-based experience is preferred, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful individual will be proactive, customer-focused and keen to develop a long-term career within the insurance sector.
