Lead a high-performing fiduciary team while managing a portfolio of client relationships within a professional services environment. This role offers a blend of leadership, client delivery and operational oversight.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and leading a team of relationship managers and administrators.
  • Delegating and overseeing day-to-day operational activities, including cash management, discretionary decisions and record maintenance.
  • Monitoring and reviewing investment portfolios and client structures.
  • Acting as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients and intermediaries.
  • Identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling.
  • Providing management information and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Attending management meetings and contributing to operational improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring billing, utilisation targets and timely invoicing and collection of fees.
  • Managing aged debtors and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
  • Setting objectives, conducting appraisals and supporting team development.
  • Providing training, guidance and effective delegation of work.
  • Supporting audit processes and maintaining high compliance standards.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI or ACCA and demonstrate strong experience within offshore trust and company administration. They will have proven experience managing a team, meeting billing and cash collection targets, and delivering high levels of client service. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the Guernsey regulatory environment. The successful individual will be commercially aware, proactive and capable of building and developing client relationships, with the flexibility to travel when required.
