Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer to join their International Trusts & Private Client practice. This position focuses on delivering expert advice to high-net-worth clients while supporting team growth and development- offering exposure to sophisticated, high-value work across multiple jurisdictions.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trust companies and family offices on offshore structures.
  • Supporting the establishment, management and restructuring of trusts, foundations and related entities.
  • Providing guidance on estate planning, succession planning and governance structures.
  • Working across multiple jurisdictions to support private wealth strategies.
  • Reviewing and advising on legal documentation and third-party materials.
  • Managing matters independently and supporting junior fee earners.
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing team members.
  • Collaborating with dispute resolution and corporate teams on cross-practice matters.
  • Contributing to business development, networking and client relationship management.
  • Supporting Partners with team management, delegation and resource planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures including matter management, billing and due diligence.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister, preferably from a common law jurisdiction, with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in private client or trust law, including some offshore exposure. They will hold a STEP qualification and demonstrate strong technical expertise in non-contentious trust matters. They will possess excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to manage complex matters under pressure. A commercially aware mindset, strong business development capability and a proactive approach to career and knowledge development are essential. The successful individual will be collaborative, adaptable and capable of contributing to both client delivery and team leadership.
