Our client is seeking an Office & Accounts Manager to oversee day-to-day office operations and manage the full financial administration of the business, supporting leadership with accurate reporting and smooth organisational processes. This is a part-time position (20hrspw) that would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, balancing bookkeeping, reporting and supplier liaison with wider office administration and staff support.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Producing daily invoices and maintaining sales and purchase ledgers.
- Overseeing prepayments, accruals and depreciation reporting.
- Managing petty cash and company bank accounts.
- Operating and maintaining the Direct Debit system.
- Preparing month-end and year-end accounts.
- Producing monthly management reports for senior leadership.
- Managing the stock control system.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and external agencies.
- Preparing and processing payroll.
- Maintaining staff records and overseeing health and pension scheme administration.
- Preparing annual budgets and hangar contracts, and maintaining supporting records.
- Managing correspondence and general company administration.
- Maintaining and developing the AIS (Access) system.
- Carrying out other duties as reasonably assigned by the Directors or General Manager.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' relevant experience and strong financial management skills, with proven accuracy and attention to detail. They will be highly organised, confident communicating with clients and colleagues, and proficient across a range of accounting and office IT systems. Strong prioritisation, delegation and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. A professional, mature and service-focused attitude is key.
