Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the main L&D contact for allocated business areas, interpreting learning needs and recommending suitable development solutions.
  • Designing and delivering learning programmes that align with firmwide strategy and business priorities.
  • Using a range of learning methods, including e-learning, coaching, collaborative learning and in-person training.
  • Working with the Global Head of Learning to develop development pathways and academy-style learning provision.
  • Leveraging learning technologies and digital platforms to optimise engagement and performance.
  • Ensuring learning content is relevant, blended and appropriate for varied audiences.
  • Managing an allocated budget for learning initiatives.
  • Building relationships with external providers and co-ordinating their activities.
  • Supporting reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly and annual L&D data.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning and development within professional or corporate environments, with experience designing and delivering a range of learning approaches. Ideally, they will also have some previous experience within a law firm environment. They will be an excellent communicator, confident presenting to groups and comfortable partnering with stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisational ability, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset are essential. A degree, CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable, along with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development.
