Our client, an established fund administration provider, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the delivery of high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of global clients. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and guide junior team members while managing complex fund administration processes. The firm offers a progressive work environment, flexible working arrangements, and clear development pathways for future growth. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and benefits from a hybrid working policy of 50% work-from-home!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Take ownership of the administration and delivery of client-focused services across a range of fund structures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality control and adherence to procedures.
  • Review corporate actions and financial deliverables for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ensure client work is delivered in accordance with internal procedures, regulations, and deadlines.
  • Act as a point of escalation for technical queries and complex matters.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and provide feedback to management to improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure systems are used efficiently.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of regulatory and industry developments relevant to fund services.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fund administration or a blended experience across both corporate and fund structures. Previous experience working within Guernsey's financial services sector is essential, along with a sound understanding of its operational and regulatory landscape. A relevant professional qualification, such as CGI (formerly ICSA), would be advantageous. You will be confident managing client work independently, particularly within a Family Office environment, while also contributing to a wider client portfolio, offering scope for variety and professional development. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are key, along with a proactive attitude and desire to support junior team members.
