Join a well-established organisation in a key support role delivering company secretarial services to client entities. This position will suit an individual with a strong understanding of statutory obligations and governance, looking to develop their career within a collaborative team environment. The role involves supporting Relationship Managers and coordinating a wide range of secretarial and regulatory tasks for local and international companies.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and submitting Guernsey Registry filings, including incorporations, annual validations and statutory changes.
- Maintaining statutory registers and updating internal systems with company secretarial data.
- Coordinating the management of the registered office board and registered office services.
- Supporting Relationship Managers with queries relating to client companies across jurisdictions.
- Handling economic substance reporting and Guernsey and BVI tax submissions.
- Ensuring compliance with beneficial ownership requirements and assisting with related filings.
- Monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory changes, and updating internal stakeholders.
- Participating in company secretarial projects and contributing to process improvements.
- Liaising with third parties and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of company data.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing personal time effectively in line with business expectations.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience in a company secretarial or similar governance-focused role within the financial services sector. A relevant qualification such as ICSA or STEP is preferred. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to providing accurate and efficient support are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with statutory filing processes and corporate governance obligations are required, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
