Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the bookkeeping function for a varied portfolio of client accounts, including trading companies.
- Accurately posting transactions to the Acumen accounting system.
- Reconciling debtor and creditor ledgers.
- Maintaining investment schedules such as FX trades, interest swaps, and property transactions.
- Drafting letters and responding to queries or payment instructions.
- Ensuring all financial records are accurately documented and securely filed.
- Supporting internal policy and procedure documentation for accounting matters.
- Assisting the Manager or Director with ad hoc tasks and wider departmental support as needed.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will either be an experienced bookkeeper with a background in an accounting environment, or someone looking to train and build a career in finance. Experience with bookkeeping software such as Acumen is desirable, but full training will be provided. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, sound organisational skills, and the ability to manage workload under pressure. An interest in accounting and a willingness to pursue professional qualifications will be essential for trainee applicants.
