A fantastic senior role within an AML operations team, responsible for managing the delivery of AML services to a portfolio of clients and investors. Working closely with internal departments and key stakeholders, this position requires strong technical knowledge of AML legislation, regulation, and best practice, with the ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day AML operations for allocated clients.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for client and investor engagement, liaising with offshore teams, and supporting more junior colleagues.
- Staying current with AML regulation and industry developments, applying knowledge to enhance procedures.
- Leading or participating in special projects as assigned.
- Reviewing investor documentation, sourcing outstanding due diligence, and escalating material issues.
- Performing thorough AML risk assessments of investor profiles.
- Conducting quality control reviews and compiling clear, concise summaries of findings and recommendations.
- Responding to AML-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory standards.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant AML or compliance experience within financial services, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in workflow tools, data management, and report writing is required, as is the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
