A unique opportunity to contribute to one of the island's most prominent cultural events. Our client is seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to support customer communications, marketing, and event coordination for a well-established local event. This part-time, flexible position is ideal for someone with a passion for the arts and excellent communication skills.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing ticket enquiries and bookings, including inputting events into the ticketing system and coordinating with external providers.
  • Handling all customer communications relating to ticket sales, event changes, and cancellations.
  • Supporting on-site ticketing logistics during the festival, liaising with volunteers and coordinating with the finance team.
  • Tracking memberships and patron contributions, ensuring records are up to date and seeking opportunities to grow the supporter base.
  • Updating website content, maintaining the Mailchimp database, and assisting with digital marketing campaigns.
  • Drafting press releases and supporting the production and proofreading of the festival programme.
  • Coordinating with venues regarding bookings, seating plans, and operational requirements.
  • Organising and issuing invitations for festival-related events, including launch parties and children's parties.
  • Providing general administrative support, including merchandise orders, programme distribution, and liaison with internal teams.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills. A keen eye for detail, confidence using digital tools, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential. Previous experience in marketing or customer communications would be advantageous, as would a genuine interest in cultural or community-based events. Flexibility and a collaborative approach will be vital, particularly during the event period.
