This is a great opportunity to join a leading financial services company as a Trust Relationship Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Carry out day to day administration of a portfolio of structures holding various assets.
Adhere to the risk control framework of the company in relation to own client base.
Ensure adequate risk management and control in Trust administration team, satisfying fiduciary and regulatory obligations whilst delivering the required service quality levels.
Deliver and attain key performance Indicators.
Liaise with relationship managers within other teams.
Adhere to service quality standards for trust management.
Undertake contact with clients.
Liaise with investment managers, legal/tax advisors or other third parties regarding client affairs as necessary.
Assist with the consideration of client requests both with regard to tax implications and risk assessment.
Draft Trustee resolutions and company minutes.
Review legal agreements and documentation to be executed on behalf of client entities.
Interact with all divisions of the company globally, including Legal and Compliance.
Focus upon data quality within the trust management systems.
Undertake regular collaboration with trust accounting operations for Guernsey, as required.
Review financial statements for trusts and companies.
Offer to be involved in company Trust Internal Audits, as required.
Project self management and involvement in business initiatives for the company.
Attend company trust presentations and other relevant seminars for CPD or job specific training.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 10 years’ relevant fiduciary sector experience, with a strong understanding of trust & company administration and confirmed knowledge of fiduciary administration and the role of the Trustee. Excellent personal skills including authenticity and an ability to demonstrate diversity of thinking, creating a positive personal impact within the company and a significant contribution on the health of the organisation as a whole with the ability to establish a network across the divisions of the company is essential to the role. The successful individual will be willing to assist in the workload coverage of trust and company administration, will have strong relationship building, influence and consultation skills and the ability to foster teamwork by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with peers, management and clients. They will maintain consistent and continuous service across multiple client relationships and will be able to gesture a portfolio of clients with minimal direct supervision, as well as respond appropriately and promptly to clients’ issues, requests and complaints. The role will suit an accurate, motivated and well organised team player who holds excellent numeracy skills and is performance and customer orientated and can identify and analyse problems and opportunities whilst supporting the team and produces accurate work whilst working to short deadlines and ambitious objectives.
