Our independent client is seeking to recruit a Trust Administrator to work within a small, busy team of Trust professionals.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Ensure the assigned portfolio is administered in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
Set up and maintain statutory records as required.
Ensure that client reviews are carried out in a timely manner.
Carry out day to day bookkeeping for companies and trusts to trial balance and, with training and experience, become involved in dealing with basic accounts.
Liaise where appropriate with internal and external clients, third parties and professional intermediaries.
Ensure all relevant client information is contained in the client database and kept up to date as required.
Act as a responsible ‘B’ signatory within company policy.
Attend agreed relevant training and development courses to maintain and improve technical knowledge and assist in the development of trainees where applicable.
To ensure work processes comply with compliance policies and legislative requirements as they relate to the job.
Maintain both structured and unstructured CPD to the required level according to qualification.
Comply with the company’s health and safety policy.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager/directors.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess or be in the process of achieving a relevant professional qualification along with experience within a similar role. Applicants will have a good working knowledge of limited companies and setting up of new trusts, Excel and experience in preparing cash flows and budgets.
