This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team within a professional services firm, supporting the treasury and property teams with a wide range of client account and transactional duties.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring client accounts, processing incoming funds and ensuring accurate records.
Managing client payment requests, including placement of funds on deposit and updating accrued interest.
Liaising with banks regarding large transactions and coordinating with the Credit Control team.
Supporting the Property team with conveyancing transactions including payments to third parties, redemptions, client refunds and retainer disbursements.
Weekly billing of completed matters and payment of invoices from client funds.
Processing payments to beneficiaries and assisting with estate account balancing.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial controls.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a finance administration or treasury role, particularly within legal, property or client-facing environments. A high level of competence in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A relevant accounting qualification would be advantageous.
