Our client, an international leader in the financial services sector, with a legacy of outstanding service for over a century, is seeking to recruit a Senior Private Equity Administrator.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Provide a premier client service by building strong relationships with the Investment Advisor and any other third parties.
Develop a thorough knowledge of the client and their bespoke requirements with regards to key processes.
Work closely with the client to resolve queries and with internal teams to ensure delivery of client deliverables.
Undertake a daily cash management process in line with a cash management policy and action ad hoc cash management items as and when they arise.
Process invoices on the client’s bespoke system.
Arrange for amendments to loan facilities, as required.
Complete client monies and bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Process and review FXs, as needed.
Undertake the investor call and distribution process from end to end.
Deal with fund closings.
Complete the investor transfer process.
Process and review investor contact and bank detail updates.
Monitor investor audit confirmations.
Deal with investor tax reporting.
Monitor mailboxes and delegate to junior administrators, providing them with support and assisting with workload, as applicable.
Act as a ‘B’ signatory and undertake necessary reviews in that regard.
Attend meetings with directors and write minutes timely, including review.
Assist the client and lawyers with the formation and set-up of special purpose vehicles.
Adhere to constitutional documentation for ongoing entity operations.
Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies.
Identify efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient.
Ensure that technology available is being fully utilised in the most efficient manner and work with technology to resolve any issues and improve processes.
Work closely with legal and compliance to ensure all funds are in compliance with the relevant regulatory authorities.
Ensure full and proper reporting to your manager of any operational issues.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Fund Administrator or a relevant role and will be familiar with various financial instruments, local regulations and laws. It is not essential, but applicants holding or studying towards a business/financial services qualification would be preferred. Candidates should possess excellent organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a customer service orientation with a concern for quality. In addition to strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic approach and have a positive attitude, taking initiative to prepare procedures and checklists to assist others and work within a team.
