Senior Administrator

Our client a growing financial services organisation with offices across 14 different countries, is seeking to recruit a Senior Administrator.


Support the Management Team with the daily administration of their client fund portfolios.
Oversee and support the more junior members of the Administration Team in daily administrative tasks and with the more technical and complex fund administration queries.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the Administration Team and Management to promote a culture of support and ensure a collaborative approach.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on client matters to the Management Team.
Plan, prioritise and organise tasks and activities efficiently, ensuring effective time management
Assist Management with the induction and development of new recruits.
Take ownership for maintaining Continual Professional Development as required for the role and/or for existing professional qualifications or regulatory requirements.
Complete fund administration work and more complex client fund administration matters accurately and in a timely manner.
Support the Client Onboarding Team with the preparation of proposals for new clients.
Participate at board meetings and explain more complex technical matters clearly to the Management Team and the Board of Directors.
Arrange board meetings for client companies, take minutes and ensure action points are followed up in a timely manner.
Complete the annual general meeting process for corporate and fund vehicles, and fulfil all statutory filing requirements.
Support the launch of new fund structures and project work.
Complete company incorporation and limited partnership registration documents
Support an on-going programme of continuous improvement to client service by proactively identifying enhancements to processes and escalating opportunities to the Management Team.
Oversee the accurate processing of payments onto various electronic banking systems in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
Maintain responsibility for the effective coordination of fund subscriptions, transfers and redemptions undertaken by more junior members of the Administration Team
Develop a good technical understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practice that are relevant to the company and its clients
Highlight any potential risk issues to the Management Team and Compliance Team
Support the Compliance Team with client reviews as and when required and assist the Management Team with the prompt resolution of client review points.
Maintain an awareness of issues as they arise and provide information and feedback to the Management Team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Fund Administration environment, and hold or be working towards a relevant qualification such as ICSA, ACCA or CISI. Applicants will have solid IT skills alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid organisational and analytical skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate managerial skills, high standards of client service and strong attention to detail. This role will suit a proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
