A busy role for a confident and friendly individual, with high attention to detail to coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and managing the switchboard.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties for this role will include, but will not be limited to:

Greeting and welcoming visitors and clients as soon as they arrive at the office.
Directing visitors and clients to the appropriate person(s) and/or meeting room.
Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Sorting and distributing correspondence.
Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks and providing administrative support to other teams.
Ensuring the reception and client area is prepared for visitors, kept tidy and presentable and maintained to the high standard expected.
Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Assisting with scanning, filing and archiving of documentation.

Skills / Qualifications

Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven experience with Microsoft Office, along with solid customer service skills, a strong work ethic and organised manner and the ability to work in a deadline and volume driven environment whilst maintaining accuracy and focus are essential to the role.
