An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking regulatory body in a senior analytical and communications capacity. Working closely with executive leadership, you will distil complex regulatory issues into clear, influential and impactful messaging.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting senior leadership with the preparation of speeches, presentations, meeting briefs and media statements.
  • Drafting high-quality papers, briefing notes and concise summaries of complex technical material.
  • Conducting in-depth research across regulatory, prudential, financial crime and conduct matters.
  • Preparing briefing materials for UK and international meetings in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting with press releases, articles for publication and media engagement activity.
  • Acting as a professional contact point for enquiries from licensees, regulators, auditors and other stakeholders.
  • Representing the organisation at meetings locally and in the UK, including delivering presentations to industry groups.
  • Contributing to stakeholder engagement plans and supporting relationships with UK counterparts.
  • Monitoring industry developments and identifying matters of strategic importance.
  • Producing high-quality briefings at short notice in response to emerging events.
  • Working collaboratively across divisions to support information sharing and organisational priorities.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex technical information into clear and concise briefings. They will possess strong research capability, sound judgement and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders. A sharp intellect, diplomatic approach and strong political awareness are essential. The successful individual will be highly organised, capable of managing competing deadlines, and able to work proactively with minimal supervision while maintaining professional standards at all times.
