Our client, a well established Insurance Company, is seeking to recruit a Personal Insurance Broker.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Follow the customer service guidelines and ensure that all business objectives are achieved whilst providing a high quality service for both internal and external customers.
Develop effective business relationships internally and externally.
Maintain effective communication with colleagues and customers to maximise business performance ensuring that such communication is delivered through use of the most appropriate method.
Provide high quality advice in line with the business strategy, underwriting policies, procedures and customer service guidelines.
Support the Personal Insurance Manager in the achievement of the business objectives.
Provide on the job training and coaching for colleagues.
Make a positive contribution to the effectiveness of the Personal Insurance team by suggesting ways in which work systems and processes can be altered and improved.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level with Mathematics and English at grade C and will have personal insurance experience, preferably Cert CII qualified or working towards it. The applicant will have an awareness of the current personal insurance market, coupled with an understanding of personal insurance theory and practice, sales along with, cross selling and negotiation skills to obtain and retain business. The role will suit a confident individual who would be comfortable in a busy sales environment.
