Our client, an offshore law firm, who provides expert advisory and legal services for the financial and property sectors, as well private clients, is seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant for the Strategy Board.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Undertake PA and administrative support to the FD, Board members and Executive Assistant
Provide excellent internal and external client service by phone, email and in person
Arrange meetings and appointments, managing diaries and inbox for the Directors, and assist the Executive Assistant.
Prepare correspondence, documents, presentations and file notes.
Help prepare for Board and Partner meetings.
Process and track expenses for the Directors and Executive Assistant,
Minute taking for the Risk Committee and Finance department meetings.
Arrange business trips and travel for the Directors and Executive Assistant.
Provide support with internal events and all associated travel.
Collate Board and meeting packs and attend /produce minutes for Board as proxy for EA when necessary.
Assist Executive Assistant where necessary.
Book, prepare and clear meetings rooms, set up IT, video and audio conferencing as necessary.
Ensure confidentiality of the firms’ documentation and information.
Carry out project work, where appropriate.
Provide absence cover for the Executive Assistant and support to Secretaries in other departments when required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including English and Maths. Candidates will have prior experience in a Legal, Professional or Financial Services environment, whilst preference will be given to candidates with Secretarial or Personal Assistant experience for Senior and High level management and relevant qualifications. Candidates will possess strong IT abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent organisation and time management. The successful candidate will demonstrate discretion, professionalism, confidence and confidentiality. This role will suit a proactive, motivated, and flexible team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
