This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and service-focused individual to lead operations for a professional services firm across the Channel Islands. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day facilities function, ensuring excellent front-of-house delivery, health and safety compliance, supplier management and continuity of service across multiple office locations.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the firm’s facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient working environment.
  • Leading the Channel Islands facilities teams and overseeing daily operational continuity.
  • Delivering a high standard of client-facing service across reception and front-of-house functions.
  • Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations to ensure value for money.
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining a Business Continuity Plan.
  • Managing office moves, space allocation, and building maintenance.
  • Coordinating key services such as cleaning, archiving, post, and security.
  • Overseeing budget planning and expenditure for facilities operations.
  • Project managing contractors and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Motivating, coaching, and developing reception and operational support teams.


Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience managing operations within a professional or corporate environment, ideally with a background in facilities, health and safety, or business support. A Level 3 IWFM qualification (or equivalent) and IOSH certification are required. NEBOSH and experience in a professional services setting are desirable. The role demands strong supplier management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a wide range of operational duties with a proactive and organised approach.
