A fantastic opportunity for an experienced facilities leader to take ownership of the workplace experience across multiple locations. You'll lead teams, services and spaces to create safe, engaging and high-performing environments that support colleagues, clients and the wider business

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the workplace experience across multiple locations, creating welcoming, engaging and productive environments for colleagues, clients and visitors.
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities, reception and helpdesk services, ensuring they are responsive, reliable and aligned with business needs.
  • Lead, coach and develop facilities and reception teams, promoting a high-performing, service-focused and collaborative culture.
  • Take a strategic approach to space planning, office layouts, refurbishments, fit-outs and internal moves to support evolving ways of working.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety and environmental requirements, maintaining appropriate risk assessments, records and emergency procedures.
  • Manage third-party suppliers, contractors and managing agents, ensuring high service standards, appropriate controls and value for money.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance and ensure critical workplace systems remain safe, reliable and effective.
  • Manage facilities-related security requirements, including access control and CCTV, and support incident investigations where required.
  • Support business continuity and resilience by identifying facilities-related risks and maintaining and testing relevant continuity plans.
  • Act as a key point of contact for critical facilities issues and emergencies, including providing appropriate out-of-hours support.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance services, improve efficiency and introduce innovative and sustainable ways of working.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience within facilities or workplace services, with a strong focus on people and service delivery. You'll combine operational expertise with commercial awareness, creativity and a genuine passion for delivering an excellent workplace experience. Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills are essential, alongside the resilience to prioritise effectively in a busy environment. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent is required, together with Fire Marshal and First Aid at Work certification. An awareness of sustainability, innovation and evolving workplace practices will also be important.
