An established private client business in Guernsey is looking for a Senior Administrator/Assistant Manager to provide continuity and expertise during a key period on a fixed-term contract basis of 12 months. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio while contributing to team leadership and high service standards!
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures in line with client agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure administration is completed in accordance with current tax and legal advice, with support from senior colleagues.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of service, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and intermediaries.
- Liaise with beneficiaries, advisers, bankers, auditors, lawyers, and other third parties as required.
- Manage invoicing, fee billing, and debt collection proactively and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date entity records, including minutes and meeting notes prepared to an appropriate standard.
- Support the team lead and deputise in their absence where required.
- Supervise and support the development of junior team members.
- Delegate routine administration tasks while retaining oversight and accountability.
- Oversee projects and ensure delivery within agreed deadlines.
- Identify and manage fiduciary risk factors, escalating trigger events appropriately.
- Take responsibility for FATCA, CRS, payment procedures, FID reviews, and audit action points.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a regulated fiduciary or professional services environment, along with strong organisational and supervisory skills. You will hold, or be working towards, a relevant professional qualification and be confident managing complex structures independently. This role suits a proactive individual who enjoys leading by example and contributing positively to team performance.
