FTC Reporting Actuary

• Supporting the production and review of financial results for group, internal and regulatory reporting purposes.
• Coordinating actuarial valuation processes, including Solvency II and IFRS reporting.
• Reviewing valuation results across international business units, including relevant branch operations.
• Liaising with senior actuarial leadership, local teams and external actuaries.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports, recommendations and technical analysis to support decision-making.
• Contributing to the development, review and maintenance of actuarial models.
• Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors where required.
• Working collaboratively with finance and actuarial colleagues to ensure consistency in reporting approaches.
• Assisting with wider actuarial projects aligned to business strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary (FIA, FFA or equivalent) with experience in life insurance and a strong understanding of actuarial reporting frameworks such as Solvency II and IFRS. They will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. The successful individual will be proactive, commercially aware and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
