With a period of increased team activity ahead, our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager who can step in seamlessly and provide stability, oversight and strong client administration during this four-month fixed term contract!

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of trusts and companies with a high standard of client service.
  • Providing day-to-day guidance, oversight and training to administrators.
  • Supporting the manager with workflow planning and team organisation.
  • Liaising with clients, advisors and intermediaries on routine matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory and internal requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation, minutes and supporting papers.
  • Assisting with problem-solving, escalations and general team support as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years' experience in trust and corporate administration and be confident supporting junior colleagues. Strong organisational skills, good judgement and excellent communication are essential. A professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA or ACCA is preferred, though study support may be provided. The ability to step into a leadership role quickly is key.
