This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing credit and lending team within a professional banking environment. Supporting the legal and operational aspects of the lending lifecycle, the successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant loan completion, documentation, and administration.

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the legal risk function on the completion of lending transactions.
- Drafting and finalising facility documentation for new loans, renewals, and extensions.
- Managing the loan lifecycle from documentation through to drawdown and post-completion actions.
- Maintaining accurate loan and security records in accordance with internal procedures.
- Liaising with relationship managers, clients, solicitors, and external counsel.
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and credit appetite limits.
- Reviewing and checking documentation drafted by other team members.
- Contributing to internal process improvement projects and supporting adoption of new systems.
- Maintaining up-to-date records in banking systems and preparing client care correspondence.
- Participating in departmental initiatives and supporting other team members as needed.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or within a credit operations environment. Exposure to property transactions or banking and finance is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and a client-centric approach are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude are key to success in this role.
