Our client is seeking to recruit a Client Tax Reporting Officer.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Review and update electronic client records.
Determine the tax classification of entities, and the reportable data for their related partied for each calendar year.
Coordinate a mail shot to ''in-scope'' clients, including the receipt and processing of client responses.
Review and extract required reports from client databases.
Submit reports to various jurisdictions tax authorities portal.
Update FI's on tax authorities portal.
Assist with ad hoc support to Relationship Managers and the administration team in respect of FATCA and CRS queries.
Undertake involvements in submitting Guernsey corporate income tax returns.
Support the team in respect of EU substance group project and the implementation of the NAV module to hold and monitor its compliance.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience of FATCA, CRS requirements, Trust and Company administration and a sound knowledge of KYC/CDD requirements, as well as an awareness of EU substance developments. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and will be a proven communicator in order to deal with staff at various levels, with the ability to produce accurate output whilst working unsupervised to tight deadlines. The role will suit an efficient individual who is highly accurate and is able to independently review a client and accurately determine whether the tax status of the beneficial owner(s) is known or what action will be required.
