This fantastic role offers the opportunity to combine administration with client service while developing valuable knowledge of the pensions industry. You'll support clients throughout a range of pension activities while maintaining accurate records and working closely with colleagues and intermediaries. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than previous industry experience.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the administration of pension schemes and member records.
- Process client events and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Communicate with clients by telephone, email and written correspondence.
- Liaise with intermediaries, investment providers and pension schemes.
- Prepare withdrawal requests and payments relating to member benefits and trustee fees.
- Prepare and issue client documentation.
- Respond to client requests, instructions and queries promptly and professionally.
- Support the ongoing administration and maintenance of pension structures.
- Assist with AML and CDD requirements and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and client service.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an organised and enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop a career within pensions and financial services. You'll have GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience, together with strong administrative, organisational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, a professional approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service are essential. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload while working collaboratively as part of a team, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop your technical knowledge.
