Our client, a global provider of Audit and Risk Advisory, Tax, Consulting and Financial Advisory services, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager, for their Audit and Assurance Team.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Plan audit and assurance plans and then deliver to the client.
Manage the field teams daily, including reviewing work of staff members.
Liaise with key client staff providing timely reporting and management information.
Manage reporting requirements, including attendance at meetings.
Coach teams on stimulating engagements, including transaction and project work.
Develop and mentor more junior members of staff.
Maintain an involvement in tendering for new clients.
Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience a similar role in Auditing Financial Services Clients coupled with Project Management experience and hold a relevant professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA. Candidates will possess solid IT abilities, strong organisation and time management in addition to excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP Reporting Standards, whilst also displaying the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and to strict deadlines. This role will suit a motivated and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
