Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day relationships and activities of a portfolio of clients alongside colleagues.
  • Provide a professional, proactive and high-quality service across a varied portfolio of corporate and fund structures.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to requests and managing expectations effectively.
  • Liaise independently with clients, board members, professional advisers and other third parties.
  • Prepare for and attend board meetings.
  • Draft board meeting agendas, minutes and written resolutions.
  • Assist company boards in maintaining appropriate standards of corporate governance.
  • Prepare and process documentation relating to investment transactions.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties throughout transactions and corporate actions.
  • Assist with processing capital calls and distributions.
  • Take appropriate ownership of client matters and become an authorised signatory following successful completion of probation.
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting to the relevant manager.
  • Follow internal operating procedures, policies and controls.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and support wider company objectives.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an open and transparent team.
  • Maintain required continuing professional development and training.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience within fund administration, company administration or a company secretarial role. A professional qualification is not required, although there will be an opportunity to study towards an appropriate qualification. They will possess a good standard of written and spoken English, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and strong communication, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills. A proactive and organised approach, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines, will be essential.
