This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to develop their offshore legal career within a respected, long-standing practice in Guernsey. The successful candidate will join a dynamic legal team, advising on a varied range of corporate, commercial, finance and cross-border matters.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising on a broad range of corporate transactions and commercial matters.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
- Advising on financing arrangements and related transactions.
- Providing guidance on regulatory matters.
- Managing a varied offshore legal workload involving Guernsey corporate structures.
- Advising on cross-border matters and supporting clients across a range of corporate and commercial requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer from a relevant common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 4 years' PQE. They will have a strong background in corporate, finance, M&A, or commercial advisory work, together with excellent legal, analytical and communication skills. Experience of offshore legal matters, Guernsey corporate structures and cross-border transactions would be advantageous
