Join our client in this is a varied company secretarial role where you'll work across governance, compliance and corporate administration while supporting both internal and client entities. Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, board packs, minutes and resolutions.
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records for internal and client entities.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, annual validations and other statutory documentation.
- Liaise with the Guernsey Registry regarding filings, surveys and regulatory requirements.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and the establishment of new entities.
- Assist with changes to directors, shareholders and beneficial ownership records.
- Maintain accurate company records and ensure databases are kept up to date.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assist with implementing procedural updates where required.
- Prepare documentation in advance of regulatory visits and support governance activities.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on company secretarial matters and work closely with legal, compliance and client-facing teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a company secretarial or corporate governance role, ideally within a trust or financial services environment, applicants with less than 5 years' experience will also be considered. You'll have a good understanding of Guernsey company law and regulatory requirements, together with excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills. A relevant qualification such as CGI/ICSA, STEP or a related corporate governance qualification would be advantageous, while the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and build strong working relationships across the business will be essential to success in the role.
