Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and developing relationships with clients and agencies across the Island FM broadcast area.
- Acting as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for clients at all levels.
- Generating new business through strong networking and existing relationships.
- Developing creative advertising solutions across radio, digital and promotional platforms.
- Preparing and delivering high-quality proposals and presentations.
- Proactively generating media briefs and identifying client needs.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the local market and competitive landscape.
- Acting as an ambassador for the business within the local community.
- Managing client accounts to maximise revenue and long-term value.
- Achieving revenue targets and contributing to overall business growth.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience within a sales or account management role, ideally within media, advertising or a related sector, and demonstrate strong local connections and an established network. They will be confident in building relationships at all levels, presenting ideas and developing creative commercial solutions. A proven track record of achieving sales targets is essential, along with strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently. The successful individual will be proactive, personable and capable of representing the business within the wider community.
