Our client is seeking a B2B Account Manager to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of business customers. The position combines relationship management with sales strategy in a fast-moving and evolving sector.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of business clients, including government, corporate and SME accounts.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact, building strong and long-term partnerships.
  • Identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions aligned with operational and sustainability goals.
  • Achieving individual and team sales targets within the Guernsey market.
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise revenue.
  • Maintaining accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and CRM records.
  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to support growth and retention.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including marketing, product and pricing.
  • Monitoring account performance and adapting strategies based on client feedback and market trends.
  • Enhancing customer experience and supporting client retention initiatives.
  • Resolving client queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, financial and ethical standards.
  • Supporting health and safety initiatives and adhering to company policies.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in B2B account management or sales, ideally within the energy, utilities or a related sector. They will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment. They will be commercially aware, analytical and confident using CRM systems to support data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of the Guernsey market and regulatory environment would be advantageous. A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. The successful individual will be highly organised, adaptable and resilient, with a collaborative approach and strong focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
