Our client is offering a part-time (3 days per week) opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a tangible impact as the business continues to grow. This position would suit someone who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery across a varied spend portfolio.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to support business needs.
- Deliver procurement strategy across all categories of spend.
- Lead complex supplier negotiations to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier onboarding and risk management.
- Conduct market tenders and manage supplier evaluation and selection processes.
- Draft and manage contracts in line with standard terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activity aligns with sustainability objectives.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, sourcing tools, and data security requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar procurement role, with the ability to manage complex negotiations and tender processes confidently. You will be a strong communicator, comfortable building relationships across teams and with external suppliers. This role suits someone who is commercially minded, organised, and motivated by delivering value through effective procurement practices.
