Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing and managing the newly created Projects function, embedding effective governance and scalable processes.
- Leading and supporting the delivery of complex, cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
- Working closely with senior leaders to prioritise initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure benefits are realised.
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues to enhance project capability across the organisation.
- Building and refining project frameworks, tools, and reporting templates that scale to project size and complexity.
- Driving collaboration, communication, and accountability across departments.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring clear project planning and delivery.
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement and outcome-focused delivery.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project delivery and change management, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple functions. They will demonstrate both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading project teams, implementing frameworks, and delivering in both Agile and waterfall environments is essential. A formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile) is desirable but not required for candidates with proven delivery experience. A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach will be key, as will the ability to influence at all levels and foster a culture of shared ownership for change.
