Join a busy compliance team on a temporary basis to support core monitoring, file review and sanctions screening activity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is looking to gain practical experience in compliance and regulatory administration. You will play a key part in the effective delivery of AML processes and compliance monitoring, while learning how regulatory frameworks are applied in day-to-day operations.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting periodic client risk and file reviews in line with internal AML procedures.
- Supporting sanctions screening activities using tools such as Dow Jones, Google and Themis.
- Completing compliance monitoring programme (CMP) tests and logging findings.
- Assisting with the screening of new and existing clients, ensuring timely resolution of alerts.
- Monitoring compliance and sanctions inboxes and assisting with register updates.
- Logging and tracking action points arising from reviews or testing processes.
- Contributing to compliance projects and helping to streamline workflows.
- Carrying out general administration tasks to support the wider compliance function.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach to work and a strong eye for detail. Prior experience in an office environment is essential, and an interest in compliance, AML or financial services is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organisation skills and a willingness to learn are key. A flexible and proactive attitude is essential, along with the ability to follow procedures and deliver consistent, accurate results.
