Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:Leading a portfolio of client engagements centred around economic impact, sustainability strategy, and policy advisory.
Overseeing the development and application of advanced methodologies to quantify socio-economic and environmental outcomes.
Supporting the firm's Chief Economist function and contributing to high-profile research and insight initiatives.
Scoping, planning, budgeting and delivering complex projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Collaborating with sustainability experts, data analysts, and project managers to deliver joined-up advisory solutions.
Building and maintaining long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
Representing the firm at industry events, client forums, and international network engagements.
Mentoring junior team members and supporting the evolution of the practice's Economics & Impact offering.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree in Economics or a closely related discipline and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in consultancy, public policy, or advisory services. They will bring technical depth in areas such as impact assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and economic modelling, with a proven ability to manage clients, teams, and complex projects. Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and a genuine interest in sustainability are essential.
