Our client, a leading provider of offshore fiduciary and administration services with over 350 professionals across ten jurisdictions, requires a Temporary Trust Officer.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Provide services to the wider work streams and assist with certain functions to maintain trust and company records.
Undertake file reviews, risk monitoring and PEP reviews.
Maintain and update registers and databases.
Assist the Manager in ensuring that team workloads are completed to the highest possible standards, within the agreed timescales and that the objectives of the team are fulfilled.
Support staff, and build relationships with other team members.
Maintain statutory records.
Support the company's strategy, demonstrating the ability to generate innovative operational ideas and constructively challenge the status quo.
Identify and highlight changes to develop new policies and procedures.
Assist with the take on of New Business and Off Boarding.
Undertake project work and any other such duties that may be reasonably required.

Skills / Qualifications

Candidates will possess relevant trust administration experience and will hold a relevant professional qualification such as ICSA or STEP, or be studying towards this. Applicants will be comfortable using ViewPoint software, with experience of reviewing and understanding highly technical documentation and good knowledge of Excel and Word. Candidates with experience of FATCA/ CRS would be beneficial. The successful individual will have keen attention to detail, be able to manage and work as part of a team and have a willingness to operate in a hands on capacity. They will manage their workloads, take responsibility for the completion of work, and stay alert to potential issues that may need disclosing to the Trust Manager. The role will suit a meticulous individual, with good organisation, time management, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respond to internal clients’ needs and has the desire to take on responsibility in a deadline driven environment.
