This role requires a tech savvy individual with a Microsoft qualification to support the global IT infrastructure, including several data centers and all regional offices.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties for this key placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Providing an efficient and professional service to employees who are experiencing technical issues.
Processing and resolving 2nd line support calls.
Understanding and participating in business acquisitions involving migrating data and applications and connecting new offices into the company network.
Managing and maintaining a large corporate IT environment.
Continuing to upgrade the entire estate to the latest and most efficient versions of OS, Patches and Applications.

Understanding and experience of:
- ESX Server / VSphere / Vcentre – v5.5 to 6.7 and HyperV
- Microsoft SQL server administration 2008 – 2016
- Microsoft Server 2008 – 2019
- Microsoft Exchange 2016 on premise and Azure O365
- Microsoft SCCM
- Active Directory
- Mitel Telephony
- Cisco Telephony

Skills / Qualifications

If you are an analytical problem solver, with a client orientated and service driven approach and the ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people with the confidence and credibility to work with senior people across the firm, along with proven communication and organisational skills, this could be the ideal role for you.
