Senior Administrator/Assistant Manager

Our client, a leading Insurance company is seeking to recruit a Senior Administrator/ Assistant Manager.




Interact with various people in a professional manner, developing and maintaining effective work relationships.
Ensure that all documentation, correspondence and telephone calls are dealt with professionally, efficiently and accurately.
Produce management accounts, including statutory accounts and all other reporting requirements, within pre-set timeframes.
Maintain accounting systems.
Deal with deposits, including observing mandates, investment guidelines and Board requirements.
Assist with the production of budgets and forecasts.
Handle all company secretarial matters.
Organise Board meetings.
Adhere to all office procedures.
Ensure that all client standards are met.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good academic background, along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within an accounting or financial environment. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a CAT or AAT qualification, but this not essential. Applicants will have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, as well as at least 1 accounting software package. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. This role will suit a highly organised team player, who is able to apply strong time management skills and initiative, to all their duties.
