Our client, a global leader delivering innovative investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions, is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant for their Private Equity Accounting Team.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Manage large or complex projects such as strategic change management, new business/product initiatives, process re-engineering, and merger and acquisitions integration.
Provide multi-disciplinary consulting service such as marketing and technology to business groups.
Technical experts without management responsibilities, seen as key advisors on significant business decisions.
Keep abreast of emerging industry trends.
Maintain regular contact with peers internal and external to firm, including regulators and professional organizations.
Operate independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function
Provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
Conduct preliminary analysis.
Responsible for direct interaction with different committees or management.
Develop, implement and administer programs within functional areas.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree Level or standard, with good English and Math. Candidates will possess considerable experience in similar role and hold a relevant professional. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge of the Industry, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
