Our client, a Trust Company, is seeking to recruit a Pensions Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Assisting the Associate Director with daily administration of pension schemes.
Managing all domestic pension schemes.
Deputising for the Associate Director.
Responding to pension member queries.
Liaising with legal and compliance teams, regarding pension plans.
Communicating with intermediaries and introducers of pension business.
Preparing trustee resolutions and minutes.
Liaising with investment houses, company and trust departments and pension plan bankers.
Managing requests for admission to pension plans and transfers out.
Updating databases.
Acting as a signatory.
Overseeing the preparation, collation and dispatch of pension documents.
Handling pension benefit payments and liaising with compliance.
Assisting with the supervision and training of trainee administrators.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the fiduciary services industry and hold, or be studying towards a professional qualification. Applicants will have excellent organisational and communication skills, coupled with strong analytical abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be accustomed to working as part of a team.
