Our client is seeking an Onboarding & Periodic Review Executive to join its dedicated team. This is a fast-paced role at the centre of client lifecycle management, combining regulatory compliance with relationship management. The position is well suited to someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to play a key role in ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing periodic reviews for a diverse client base.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out initial risk assessments of new clients, escalating higher-risk cases where necessary.
  • Reviewing client documentation including legal records, source of wealth evidence, and due diligence checks.
  • Preparing client profiles and summaries for presentation to approval committees.
  • Conducting PEP/sanctions checks and media reviews to identify potential risks.
  • Reviewing FATCA and CRS documentation to ensure compliance with international tax requirements.
  • Setting up new client accounts in banking systems once approvals are complete.
  • Managing periodic reviews of existing clients, including risk reassessments and remediation processes.
  • Updating client data and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Communicating requirements clearly to Front Office teams and supporting them through onboarding and remediation processes.
  • Assisting with central tasks, such as IT and regulatory projects and sanctions transaction screening.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in onboarding or periodic review within financial services, with a strong understanding of CDD requirements for individuals, corporates, and trusts. They will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks against tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to explain requirements to colleagues and suggest improvements to processes. Competence with Microsoft Office and a proactive, team-focused attitude will also be important.
