Our client, the largest administrator of offshore private equity funds in Europe, is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager.

Provide unrivaled client satisfaction and continuously improve the department’s performance to clients (internal and external).
Produce accurate interim and annual financial statements allocated to the team, in addition to completion of various tax reporting requirements for clients.
Monitor the accounting operation process to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
Identify training and development needs and establish performance standards for the section.
Guide staff in the resolution of non-routine and complex client reporting issues.
Commit and work as a team member to support and enhance cross-functional communication and knowledge to achieve company success.
Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments.
Conduct partners in performance development reviews for team as required, and act proactively in the development and training needs of self and team.
Stand responsible for all departmentally-related administration duties.
Recruit, select, manage, motivate and conduct probationary reviews and direct line reports.
Seek opportunities to improve productivity and quality within the business group.
Produce accurate, detailed and appropriate management information through reporting and analysis.
Attend and present accounts at board meetings.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a management role in the fund administration, asset management, securities operations or audit industry and hold an accounting qualification, or be qualified by at least 5 years’ experience in a finance role. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the detailed review of financial statements, from primary statement and notes through to detailed corporate governance reporting, with strong knowledge of offshore funds administration, preferably for London listed main market funds, and the Guernsey regulatory regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting. The successful applicant will have experience of representing businesses to current clients, with the ability to instill a client services culture and provide input into long term strategy for staff.
