Our client, a locally owned online retailer specialising in perfume, cosmetics, skincare and hair care products, requires a Contract Brand Manager until October 2021.

Responsibilities

Work with the Purchasing Director to plan, implement, and continually evaluate and improve the promotional brand strategy.
Ensure all relevant stakeholders are updated and informed of all marketing campaigns, including marketing teams, purchasing, stock management, and customer services.
Establish processes to ensure the ongoing quality and integrity of Monthly/Quarterly Brand Presentations, which reflects the marketing activity and trended sell-out rates for internal and external distribution.
Maintain responsibility for the weekly sell-out reports deliverability and communication.
Work alongside the CRM team to segment and target customers according to brand loyalty and or product purchasing history.
Track the customer journey across all channels to establish actionable insights into emerging customer behaviours and trends.
Provide brand competitor performance analysis for UK and Worldwide markets.
Develop effective marketing relationships with partners where we have Authorised Distribution.
Maintain excellent communication with all relevant teams including liaising with the Trading and Design teams on campaign management and promotional offers.
Negotiate promotional marketing retros and rate card investment, and log and raise invoices in a timely manner.
Manage free gift and sample stockholding and activation to ensure all stocks are kept up to date and used within six months of having been receipted.
Undertake any other duties as and when required by the Line Manager or a Director.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a similar or relevant role and experience with Google Analytics, however this is not essential. Candidates will possess strong IT abilities particularly with Excel, as well as excellent communication, organisation and solid time management skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to take ownership of projects, to identify any under-performing brands and to adapt the promotional plans with short notice. This role will suit a highly detailed, motivated and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
