Our client, a professional and dynamic organisation with a specialist approach to fund administration within the European Private Equity market, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Assisting in the creation of a central contracts database for Client Service Agreements for all services.
Supporting in the creation of new processes to capture and maintain Client Service Agreements (including measures to report on the quality of the database).
Participating in a review of the documents issued to the client to ensure they meet business and client requirements.
Collaborating in a project to review existing client contractual relationships.
Updating contracts where needed to meet the new requirements.
Maintaining the contracts database and ensure the contracts process is followed.
Acting as the contract subject matter expert for the business.
Training & mentoring the business teams to ensure they understand the importance of contract management.
Liaising confidently and knowledgeably both with internal and external clients.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in law and have a good level of English and Maths. The candidate will ideally have a contract management qualification such as CIPFA or CIPS. Applicants will have a good understanding of contracts and contract management as well as strong IT and communication skills. This role will suit a confident, flexible and committed team leader who is able to work under pressure and deliver pragmatic solutions, as well as applying excellent time management, supervisory and motivational abilities.
