Our client, a privately owned group of retail companies based in the Channel Islands, is seeking to recruit an Acquisitions Manager.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the plans to deliver the two key objectives of raising brand awareness and recruiting new customers.
Working with internal stakeholders/media channel owners on a weekly basis to review the acquisition targets, adjusting plans quickly and effectively where needed.
Working with the Head of Acquisition and Senior Acquisition Manager to execute plans across the following channels (where appropriate): Print, PPC, TV, Radio, Social, Display, Affiliates, Out of home, On Demand, Recommend a friend or any new relevant B2C opportunities for all the company's product categories.
Liaising daily with the media agency; writing briefs, monitoring budgets, identifying the best opportunities and reviewing proposals, tracking performance and ROI from media agency, including regular status meetings and quarterly reviews.
Working closely with the CRM team to ensure that follow up communications are as relevant as possible, personalised to the type of new customers the company are acquiring.
Undertaking internal communication of plans to the wider business.
Exploring opportunities to acquire more prospects and assist in developing campaigns to convert them.
Working with the content team to develop relevant content to appeal to new customers.
Developing sound and scalable tests and learning tactical campaigns – adapting quickly to what is and isn’t performing, reporting back and making recommendations.
Working closely with the Head of Digital to brief acquisition campaign website requirements, helping to ensure the website appeals to new customers as well as existing.
Helping to identify product development for new customers.
Working closely with the partnership and new business team to harness opportunities and ensure we are utilising all assets and ambassadors in the most effective way.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level, preferably in a business related subject, with a minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience with proven success in previous marketing roles. Applicants will currently be operating at a similar level, be able to demonstrate a successful track record, with proven attention to detail. The successful candidate will have proven project management skills, have an analytical mindset to understand data and excellent interpersonal/ influencing and communication skills at all levels. The role will suit a team player, with a can do attitude and the ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines.
